The Foundation for Free flight has teamed up with the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce and private donors, Lisa Tate, Mark Forbes, Rich Hass, Riss Estes, to offer $3000 in prize money and $500 gasoline coupons to encourage pilots to come. Additionally, we have a great headquarters at Hunters Resort with free hot mineral pool for the pilots and DSL high speed Internet connection.
Hunters Resort (541) 947-4242 is offering discounted lodging, tent camping for $7.50 per night and has even mowed us a landing field complete with windsock. The discount will be applied not only to the competitors but drivers and volunteers as well.
The town of Lakeview is providing free swim tickets at the Lakeview Swimming Pool, free ice cream at the Polar Bear and even has drivers for rent.

Mike and Gail put on fantastic meets! Their organisation rivals that of Quest Air and the social side is (dare I say) beter. You will get more bang for your buck than you expect.
