The sprog would now extend past the end of the inboard leading edge so it needs to be disconnected. I'm a chicken with my sprog settings and am 'afraid' that I'll have them reassembled wrong...and I suppose you should as uneven sprogs would cause a turn in your glider....probably manageable but it wouldn't be a fun way to spend your flight fighting your glider.
Disconnect the pin (replace it to the sprog) and tie off the sprog turnbuckle to your leading edge right away so it doesn't get turned (this is how you adjust your sprogs in the first place).
Pad the ends of sprog (hard to see it padded with the white foam in this pic) and spin the sprog support wire back towards the nose of the glider so you can slip the sprog down to lay against your leading edge.
Now pad the crossbar/leading edge junction with the camping mat foam. Wrap it right around and tape it together. This is the biggest potential wear point and would be the most disastrous to replace last minute if it gets damaged in transit.
