The task was out and return 110k with a turn point across the valley from the flight park landing goal. Things went well for my flight, I was the only one in my class to complete the task BUT the flight didn't count! Some how the track log feature on my gps was turned off! I found this out after turning it in for scoring following the flight. It is the pilots responsibility to have a properly set up gps to prove the turn points were achieved and also for timing flights. It is hard to change the setting by accident but I will be checking that from now on. Lesson learned but it could have been worse as it looks like I'm still in first place for my class. It did drop my placing overall from 5th to 9th though.
